I am looking for one flatmate to join me on the lease at my new place in Rosanna, which commences in mid-December. The house will be fully furnished, excluding the available bedroom.

The home is a townhouse, with hardwood floors through the kitchen/dining/living area downstairs. There is also a powder room and laundry downstairs, along with courtyard space.

Upstairs are the carpeted bedrooms, all with BIR. The main bedroom has an ensuite shower space, while the other bedrooms have a shared shower space. There is a separate toilet upstairs. However, as I am only wishing to fill one bedroom (the other room will be kept empty) essentially the bathrooms will mostly be separate.

I’m 37 and work full time in school operations.

My week days are pretty routine with early starts. Outside of work, I love walking my dogs twice a day, getting outside, reading (mostly crime/thriller), gardening (homegrown veggies), cooking (and eating!) and the occasional run/yoga class. I have been a homeowner and renovator for a few years now, but previously house shared and my housemates would describe me as friendly, respectful, super considerate and clean.

I value a clean and tidy home that is secure, welcoming and peaceful. It would be great to be able to share with one other person who is honest, genuine and like-minded, happy to have a chat over a wine on the weekend, but also respects personal space.

Description of pets
I have two dogs, so I’m seeking someone who genuinely loves animals, who is responsible and will be sure to lock up securely to keep the dogs safe. Martha is a sweet and dopey 4 year old Golden Retriever. Mary is an intelligent, bossy and affectionate 3 year old West Highland Terrier. They spend their days outside in the yard, and sleep inside on their own bed at night. Because they are inside, I vacuum and clean regularly. They do not dig, chew or destroy anything. Both dogs are walked twice daily in rain, hail or shine, with a minimum of 1 hour of exercise per day. They are happy, healthy and super affectionate. They love adventures, trips to the beach and lots of pats, and will definitely want to rest their heads on your lap on the couch. If you love dogs, this could be perfect: all of the perks, none of the work or costs!
