As pictured the bedroom has a book case and a desk. The single bed can be used, but if you want a double bed would need to bring your own. There is a built in wardrobe. It also has central heating and overlooks the back yard, getting plenty of light.

Description of the home

I am wanting to rent the bedroom to a female - both short or long term are ok. The house is very comfortable and the rooms have a lot of light coming in. There is central heating and ceiling fans and the house is in a quiet street where I have known my neighbours for a long time. The lounge and dining rooms are very comfortable and the kitchen is spacious and has gas cooking and there is plenty of storage space there. The house also has a washing machine, shared bathroom and a separate toilet. There is a front and back garden where I grow vegies and native plants.

There is a Woolworths supermarket, Post Office, Chemist Warehouse, $2 shop and Bunnings store only 5 minutes walk from the house and Oakleigh shopping centre and station is less than 2 km away. Chadstone shopping centre is about 4km away by a direct bus. If you like golf, the Metropolitan Golf Club is easy walking distance. This is a relaxed house, an environmentally friendly house, we recycle everything and cleaning is a shared job. This house would be very convenient if you are studying at Monash Uni Clayton and Holmesglen Tafe as there are direct bus rides to them and Monash Caulfield is 4 train stops away.

I am a full time yoga and meditation teacher. I love going on hikes, and spending time in nature when I am not working, cooking and eating out, and getting together with family and friends. I also love gardening and grow vegies in the back garden.

I would be very happy to have a female, including an overseas student of any age, and I would be happy to help you with whatever you need when you arrive. I need you to be respectful of other people in the house, accepting of all cultures, reliable, independent and able to live harmoniously together. A good sense of humour and a decent amount of sillyness will go down well here.
Cleaning is a shared responsibility, you will be expected to clean up your own mess! I'm not a fan of laziness. And above all, I want to keep a relaxed atmosphere in the house so we can all enjoy coming home. Sorry no couples. No drugs, no smoking on the premises.
