I am looking for a house mate, not renting a room in my own home. It's right across from the Maroochy River with a little river beach there, around the corner from Cotton Tree beach, the public 50m pool, cafes, park, Maroochydore beach + really close (walking) to Ocean St (the hub for cafe's, restaurants, bars, Woolworths, Post Office etc). It's a 10 min walk to the Sunshine Plaza (the largest shopping complex on the Sunshine Coast, with everything you need), 10 mins to Mooloolaba + 8 mins to the airport. There are 2 bus stops within 30m.
It's really spacious and built for entertaining, but feels very homely. There is a large, stunning pool and outdoor lounge area. There are 2 internal living / lounge areas, so you can also enjoy your own space. You will have your own King size room, with comfy KING bed / luxe bed linen (if you would like it), A/C and your own private toilet /bathroom with large bath tub.
I have a second and third spare room as well and can discuss extra space, if you need an office etc.
I have everything you need to be really comfortable here, including wifi/NBN, Foxtel/Netflix (cable), a fully equipped kitchen, laundry and off street security parking. The place is clean and nicely furnished. I have 2 older, loving, friendly dogs, so you must be ok with pets around to give you cuddles :-)

Bills and expenses
I am renting here, so I am looking for a house mate to share, not renting a room in my own home. The rent is really high here, as it's a huge 2 storey, 5 bed house, security gate, private parking and amazing location, with massive backyard and large beautiful pool. It cant be compared to other rooms for rent in regular homes for $300/wk. All bills are included in the rent.

I'm Bec! I'm laid back, friendly, professional, self employed (cafe owner) so work from home a bit and am looking for someone compatible to share my space here.
Im 53, but really young at heart :-) I live an active, outdoor, lifestyle, with 2 beautiful larger doggo's (super loving and friendly). I love SUP (have 2 boards here and bikes) and am a p-plate surfer (if someone is in front of me, they should be worried! .. but I make up for it with effort ha ha). I'm looking for someone similar, who is relaxed, clean, tidy and respectful. It's not a party house, but occasional dinners / drinks/ friends over etc is ok. I have everything you need here, or you can bring your own bedroom furniture. It's a really big house, massive outdoor area and a great place to live location wise :-) I have loads of Air BnB feedback from guests who have stayed here with me (short and longer term stays), if you would like extra feedback on what the vibe is like to live here :-)
