Description of the home
Hello! We’re looking for a couple to join our Thornbury home in March.
About the house ~~
It’s a beautiful light-filled, red-brick family home with a freshly renovated bathroom and kitchen, with high ceilings, timber floors, off-street parking, a dishwasher (!), reverse cycle air-conditioning, two generous lounge rooms, two toilets, and gas ducted heating in every bedroom – it’s so comfortable, neat and super functional (practical storage, raked ceilings) - pretty nice to pad around in.
There is a lush and well-maintained garden (a gardener is included in our rent) – big old trees, thriving tomato plants and a very happy hibiscus bush. There’s a shed, a clothesline, a Weber and a fire pit.
The house will have room for your furniture if you’d like (optional)!
Logistics ~~
The room is available from the 15th of March.
Rent is due on the 18th of each month. Bond is $2000. Bills are split evenly.
The current lease runs until May 2025, with the option to renew. Send us a message if you’d like to say Hello! :))

Tess (32, she/her) is at uni wrapping the last year of her architecture masters. She likes running, a double espresso, cooking and eating well with friends and driving to the Surf Coast for swims.
We’re looking for a couple in their mid 20s-30s who are respectful, easy-going and have steady work. You’ll be ready to go on the lease and keen to help contribute to a communicative and warm home.
