The apartment is spacious with lot's of natural light - 2 bedrooms, 2 balconies, large kitchen and dining/lounge room area, bathroom and laundry. New carpet installed and painted end of 2021. Split system air conditioner and heater in the shared spaces. The apartment is furnished including washing machine, TV, all kitchen appliances, Wi-Fi internet. New hot water system installed in August 2024.
I have a number of indoor plants and my decor has a retro, warm home feel to it. Lots of books for reading, and a guitar if you can play! There is a communal clothes line outside, or a launderette to dry clothes only a 5 minute walk away. The Sunday morning Oakleigh market (20 min walk) is ideal for fresh local produce and trash and treasure.
The apartment block has only 6 units and the neighbours are friendly and very quiet. 5 minute walk to Huntingdale shops which has an IGA grocery store, butcher, hairdresser, gym, and plenty of cafes (with excellent coffee!) and restaurants. 10 minute walk to Huntingdale Station - 30 minute train ride to the city. Very close to Oakleigh Shopping Centre and bus on your doorstep to Monash University.

I'm Kristen (but most call me Kris). I am 33 years old - gay, fun, sensible and chilled. I have been living in my 2 bedroom flat alone now for a few months and have decided it would be nice to have a flat mate to have some company and for them to enjoy the space with me. I have always lived with housemates most of my life. I work full time 5 days per week in a creative role (Monday-Friday) in a retail head office in the city. After work I enjoy meeting friends for dinner, seeing my family, having the occasional quiet wine at home, and cooking dinner. I enjoy going to the market on the weekend and buying fresh food, being outdoors, and some retail therapy now and then! I enjoy my own space and value my independence, but am also excited and very open to having a housemate to enjoy the flat with me. I am a neat and clean person. My previous housemates would describe me as always bubbly, caring, approachable and easy going.
