Apartment is quiet, with own internal large courtyard. Close to Kingston and Manuka shops, gyms, pool, the Lake, and all the cultural institutions such as NGA, Portrait Gallery etc. Well serviced by buses and you never wait more than 2 mins for an Uber! The building is almost unique in Canberra – older style, with personality and lovely to live in. The apartment is non-smoking. The apartment is all decked out. About the occupants
Hello
I am Georgina and in my 60s. I am active – go to the gym or up Red Hill (steps and running) each morning. During the day I am a consultant working a lot with the public sector in Canberra. I love listening to music, going to concerts, attending various events held in Canberra. Keeping up with the great exhibitions at the galleries and museums in Canberra also brings me joy. I travel to Sydney and interstate fairly regularly, so I have periods when I am out of town. Having a sense of humour is very important to me and being a glass half full person is another of my traits. I currently live in the apartment on my own, but want to change that as I like company. I am very independent, and initiate activities in my life all the time!
Compatible people
I’m looking for a friendly, easy going, respectful and tidy flatmate to share with me. Someone who is happy to socialise over a drink and dinner; or we do our own thing over the weekend. I’d prefer a professional person. Maybe you come to Canberra occasionally for work and want a more pleasant environment than a sterile hotel room? I expect that we will both respect each others space and privacy. I am a non smoker and expect the same with my flatmate.
