Hi, I’m Paul, a 37-year-old single gay man working full-time as an Area Manager in the beauty industry. Originally from Brisbane, I’ve been living in Melbourne for the past year and will be relocating to Sydney for work in late January or early February 2025.

I have a steady routine, working 9–5 with 1–2 days a week from home. My evenings are typically spent unwinding at home or catching up with friends, and my weekends are often filled with social outings. I pride myself on being a clean and considerate housemate who values mutual respect for shared spaces and belongings.

I enjoy cooking, watching movies, and exploring new cities, so I’m excited to dive into all that Sydney has to offer! I’m looking to share a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom home, with rent split between $800 to $1,200 per week, plus bills equally shared. I already have furniture and appliances except for a fridge microwave in a dryer. I’d be happy to split cost for a fridge and I don’t use a dryer. so you’ll only need to bring your bedroom essentials—though if you have outdoor setting, that would be welcome additions!

The areas I’m considering are Alexandria, Camperdown, Darlinghurst, Newtown, Surry Hills, and Waterloo. I’m hoping to find a housemate who is friendly, responsible, works full-time, and values keeping a clean and tidy home. Ideally, you’re sociable and outgoing but also appreciate a peaceful and relaxed environment during the week.
