About occupants
- Tam (37, she/her) is currently working part time at a university as a researcher working in gender and international community development while studying a PhD in a similar field. She enjoys camping, yoga, meditation, and festivals.
- John (40, he/him) is currently working full time in energy and climate research. He enjoys cycling, bouldering, adventures in nature and festivals.

We're both quite social so typically out weeknights 2-3 times a week and most weekends. We also enjoy hosting friends for dinner 1-2 times a week.

We are experienced living in sharehouses and like sharing food communally. We split the costs of a veggie box each week as well as shared groceries. We're vegetarian and would prefer same (though not essential).
Compatible people
I guess it's easy to fall into platitudes here (easy-going, considerate, friendly) but we'll try to be a little more specific.
- We like a pretty low-key house though certainly not averse to the occasional party
- We enjoy connecting with housemates through communal dinners and community events
- We aren't really into television or gaming and don't have a tv
- We enjoy having a reasonably clean and tidy house
- We prefer to live with folks who have a commitment to open and direct communication (i.e. communicating boundaries / needs / expectations)
- We would like to live with folks who value sustainability, social justice and LGBTQI+ inclusion
