Other information
This bedroom has a big sash window facing east, gets amazing morning light (the lightest room in the entire apartment), so even thought it's the smallest it's got a great feel. The previous housemate had a freestanding wardrobe, queen bed and desk for WFH days, and there is space in the hallroom cupboard for additional items/bulky coats etc for the person in this room.

Can be semi furnished and provide a desk and wardrobe if needed.

At this stage we're looking for a shorter term fill, December into February or March - there's a little flexibility with the end date for the right person, happy to discuss though.

Home Description

Description of the home

Our apartment is in the well known Manar building on Macleay St in Elizabeth Bay/Potts Point. The building is amazing, a 19th century design with beautiful gardens and harbour views. We are in a great location, right across the road from Woolworths and with Pott's Points bars and restaurants all just outside our door. We've got a quiet shared garden with harbour views. Kings Cross train station is just a five minute walk away and the 311 bus across the road takes you into the city. You can also walk to the city in about 20 minutes. Botanical Gardens are 15 away, Centennial Park is 30 and you can walk to Red Leaf beach.

Our apartment has three bedrooms plus separate dining, living and sun room areas - great space for three people. We have a fully equipped galley kitchen (with gas/induction cook tops, oven, dishwasher), one full bathroom (with a bath/shower) and a second toilet. There's quite a bit of storage in the hallway which you'll be able to use too.

About occupants
Hi, we're Andrew and Geordie. We're both working professionals in our 20/30s. Andrew works in the arts and has a passion for cooking, getting active and outdoors, loves to chill out with Netflix and a red wine. Geordie works big hours as a producer in TV and film and managed to score a sweet ex-prop as a dining table.

We’re a chilled, social house. We hang out occasionally or have a drink together, but very much have our own lives. We think we're pretty friendly, relaxed and easy going people. We can be like passing ships sometimes but when we're home together enjoy having a chat and have been known to watch a series together. Very much up for a third person who is a good mix of all of that.
Compatible people
We're looking for a working professional who can hang out but also has their own interests. Someone who is positive, friendly, inclusive, clean and respectful, and just as importantly enjoys a wine, laugh and a chat. Ours is a happy friendly home - get on board.
