Description of the home

A large room, with own bathroom and air con/heater is available for one person, 30 yrs old +. The room is unfurnished, except with built-in wardrobe and drawers. The room is large enough for a queen sized bed and to still have space for a study desk or TV/gaming set up. There is a small kitchenette area that comes with the room that others in the past have just used for storage. A double bed is available if you do not have your own bed. The room is extremely private, having an entire floor to itself.

There is an undercover car spot available, off-street and behind security gate. There is a spot for each person.

Outside of the bedroom that is available the house is fully furnished. There is a living area for watching TV, another for hanging out and dining.

There are two living areas, a balcony with a stunning view of the como valley and city. There is a particularly stunning kitchen with a view. It is 10 mins walk to Angelo St shops and cafes in South Perth, and walking distance to the river. Buses are 6 mins walk away and go to Curtin Uni in one direction Perth city in the other (10 mins). It is very easy to commute to the city or Curtin Uni. It is $35 Uber to the airport and $15 to the CBD.

The rent figure does not include utilities, internet, but this is $30 a week total for reasonable use.

The house has all the mod cons - dishwasher, washer, dryer, expresso machine, thermomix.

The house is rated as an eco house, with double glazing and solar panels and the bedroom available has its own rc air con. /heater.

It comes with a pretty special cat that loves to play and is friendly. We cannot have other cats or dogs.

The house has prolific lemon, mandarin, fig and mango trees and is truly a beautiful place to live.

We need a person who is friendly, happy to chat with housemates, can clean up after themselves in the kitchen and contribute to cleaning and looking after the garden with us ongoing.

We need a non-smoking or outside smoking, low level to non-drinking, quiet living person who can speak up and resolve any concerns before they become a drama.

We would be happy to hear from couples who are looking for room longer than 6 months . The rent for a couple would be $400.00 per week plus $40.00 per week for bills (fixed rate).
We are looking for someone who knows they want to stay in Perth for at least 6 months, and would only need to move out if the household didn't work out for them.

Bills and expenses

electricity, gas, internet, water covered in $30 a week on top of the $350 per week rent. Couples bills would be $40 per week on top of the $400 rent.
