The added attraction of our house is the peaceful quietness, cleanliness and security we provide to ensure a studious and harmonious environment for our tenants.

IMPORTANT: This is NOT A PARTY house. We do strongly advocate, and support social gatherings among the housemates. Strict guidelines in place for guests.

With pleasant surroundings, this home is designed to provide a family-friendly environment for all tenants. Common areas provide a range of private or group use areas with comfortable seating and tables.

There is a large covered rear verandah with table and chairs, and separate undercover BBQ area - also good for drying during wet weather.

KITCHEN is a well-appointed galley style. Include extensive cupboards and storage, fully stocked with crockery, cooking equipment and utensils, a wide range of electrical appliances, 4-burner gas cook top, electric oven and grill, microwave, double sink, and two large fridges.

LOCATION and TRANSPORT: House is a 20-minute walk (or 5-minute cycle) to University and Jesmond or Wallsend shopping centres. A bus/stop in two directions is less than 25 metres from front door.

FURNISHINGS: All rooms are fully furnished with a ceiling fan and wall heater.
(Linen not included, but available at cost if required.)

INTERNET - High speed unlimited Wi Fi provided as a courtesy.

BILLS - included in rent. However contributions may be requested for 'above average seasonal' bills.

FIRE SAFETY: Safety equipment in 3 areas of the house, as well as fire/ smoke detectors in a range of areas.

SECURITY - All doors and windows are fully security screened.

CLEANING: each tenant has 1-in-4-task of a 5-week roster cycle.
Inspections are done weekly.

KITTY: We recommend everyone contribute & participate in household expenses e.g. toilet paper, handwash and dishwash detergent

INSPECTIONS: by appointment or video tour via Facetime or WhatsApp

PETS - as a shared house - pets are not allowed.

Bills and expenses

Bills are included. However, tenants are requested to contribute for bills in excess of 10 percent of the seasonally adjusted bills in excess of the *average number of persons per household bill. This is calculated per person for each day in residence.

About the occupants
At the moment we have 3 students - three post grad and one PhD. Most students have part time employment and have varying interests in their past time.

We welcome both local and overseas tenants and those who are prepared to be respectful and thoughtful of others.

You may be pleased to know that we do not live there. However, as we privately manage our property, we ensure a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness is maintained for world peace.

All support is given to our tenants to ensure everyone has a relaxing time and/or success in their work or study endeavours.
