About the occupants
Hi there! I’m a 29 year old man, looking for one kind and respectful individual to share my apartment with.

About me:
People who know me well describe me as funny, caring and easy-going, but I do like my routines.. I work part-time and love to get out and about. My interests range from movies and computers to trains, and I love visiting places like the zoo, aquariums, and museums. I love structure, and enjoy my quiet space. Please note: I do not like being around cigarette smoke, and would respectfully ask that smokers do not apply.
Compatible people
Expectations:
As someone who appreciates a peaceful environment, I have low tolerance for loud music and uncleanliness.I have support workers who assist me regularly, so you must be comfortable with them coming into our home.
I am looking for a housemate I can share my interests with, who is calm, patient, organised and friendly. The right person would be someone that is keen to get to know me, and develop a relationship as housemates. It is important to me that I can establish a positive relationship with my housemate now so that we can create a friendship, and I am excited to find the right person to be an important member of my life. Experience working with people who have a disability, specifically Autism Spectrum Disorder, will be viewed favourably. Given the unique nature of this arrangement, spending some time together before making a decision is important. Please be prepared to share a reference. It is also important that you have, or are willing to obtain a First Aid CPR certification, NDIS screening check, police check & ABN. Please note that this is not a live-in carer role, but rather someone who can act as a mentor, role model, and companion to me.

Responsibilities and Benefits:
As a supportive housemate, your responsibilities would include regular scheduled time cooking and sharing meals with me, modelling what it means to be a good housemate and joining me in community activities. In exchange for your time, you will be paid a modest weekly stipend (taxable income) depending on what is agreed upon between us. This will likely be an amount upwards of $400/week.

Location and Rent:
The apartment is ideally situated in Ringwood, Eastern Melbourne, just a short walk from Eastland shopping centre and Ringwood train station. It's a new build, with two spacious bedrooms, two bathrooms and fully furnished communal areas. Your weekly rent for your own room, bathroom and underground car space would be $250/week (excluding utility bills).

If you feel you would be a compatible housemate, and this sounds of interest to you, please contact me
