Home Description

Description of the home

Are you looking for a room in North Melbourne? My apartment might just be the perfect fit! It’s only 100m from Flemington Bridge train station and super close to trams 57 and 59, which means you can be in the CBD in just 10 minutes by tram or three quick train stops. It’s also a short ride to Brunswick, with all its great bars, cafes, and shops.

The location is really handy—IGA is a 5-minute walk, Woolworths is 10 minutes away, and if you’re into fitness, gyms are around the corner. If you drive, I have two secure car parks I can get you access to.

One of my favorite things is the large balcony with stunning city views. It’s such a nice spot to unwind, whether it’s during the day or enjoying the city lights at night.

Inside, the bathroom has a modern vibe with a double shower and toilet, and the apartment is super comfy. If you love cooking, you’ll be glad to know I have loads of appliances, and I’m happy to share them. For entertainment, there’s a 65” TV, a PS5 for gaming nights, and even a record player for those who enjoy vinyl.

If this sounds like the kind of place you’d enjoy, let’s chat!

About the occupants
I’m the only occupant, and I work in customer service. I came from France 12 Years ago and Australia is now home. I love for my home to feel like a sanctuary where I can unwind after a busy day. I enjoy plants, vinyl records (I’m a big music lover), and cooking, so the apartment always has a cozy, welcoming vibe.

I like to think I’m easy to bond with, but I also respect personal space and can give you as much space as you need to feel comfortable.

Not here for hookups so please keep it respectful.
Compatible people
I’m looking for a non-smoking flatmate who’s clean, cat-friendly, and enjoys a balance between socializing and personal space. It’s important that we can hang out from time to time but also respect each other's need for downtime.

I’m only looking for one flatmate—sorry, no couples.

International students, WHV holders, all ages / all nationalities are welcome!
Description of pets
I have one fabulous feline named Shadow. At 9 years old and desexed, she runs the show around here! Shadow is friendly and calm, so you won’t have to worry about a crazy kitten racing around. She might drop by for a cuddle from time to time, but just a heads up—she definitely feels like we’re living in her territory.
