Description of the home

Hi, we’re looking for a new Flatmate at our cosy home in Maidstone!

The house has 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom with a separate toilet, a fully equipped kitchen, a laundry room, a large backyard with fruit trees, and spacious living and dining spaces. The house has solar panels – great for the environment and your pocket!

The SINGLE ($1000) room features great space and it’s fully furnished, including a comfortable hotel double bed, a small wardrobe, a study/working desk, a side table, a fan and an oil heater.

Rent is paid monthly on the 5th day every month and does not include bills. Water, gas, electricity and internet bills are split equally. Bond is one month of rent paid in advance and is required to secure the room.

Your flatmates will be David (me) and our two Japanese Akitas. I do work full-time as a Chef in a Restaurant at Toorak. The dogs are super friendly and well-trained. We are very organized, responsible and friendly person. We do normally do house chores (deep cleaning) once a week, but we like to keep our house as clean and tidy as possible on a daily basis.

Maidstone is a lovely and convenient suburb either if you work or study. From our house, the city is 15 mins away by car or 30 mins by public transport, with bus stops within 1-minute walk (routes 410 and 223) that connect with Footscray train station and direct bus to the city within 10-minute walk. Nearby, within walking distance, you’ll have Aldi, Highpoint Shopping Centre, petrol stations, clinics, restaurants and more!

Bills and expenses
Water, power and gas utility bills is always shared between.
We normally clean the house every weekend but the house is well kept normally - no cost for hiring a cleaner.
The bond is required to secure the room and the monthly rent is paid on the 5th every month.
