The apartment is best suited to people who work in the office/on-site most days, with a 9-5 type job as we are next to a construction site that operates Monday to Saturday.

2 minute walk from Smith St and the 86 tram, under 10 minute walk to Brunswick St and the 11 tram. Walking distance to lots of supermarkets, cafes, restaurants and bars. In the heart of both Fitzroy and Collingwood. Fitzroy pool, Edi Gardens are also very handy.

Bills and expenses

Gas (approx 130 monthly), electricity (approx 375 quarterly), water (approx 75 quarterly), internet (89 monthly) are split evenly. Cleaner comes once a fortnight for $150 also split evenly.

About occupants
I’m Kat (she/her) and my partner Shane (he/him) and I are looking for a couple or a single to share our top floor apartment. Our lease is rolling/month to month and our housemate is moving out as she’s buying a place.

We are both employed full-time in stable and passion-driven work. I am an events and project manager and Shane is an Engineer. I’m in the office 3 days per week and WFH 2 days per week and Shane mostly works in the office.

We take pride in the upkeep and appearance of our home and we have a cleaner come fortnightly to do a deeper clean, and we clean as we go and rotate the responsibility of cleaning in their 'off' week.

We are well past our days of hosting parties and prefer to have people over for a meal and to watch a movie together. We'll host a few friends over for dinner or drinks maybe once a fortnight and have a social and inclusive house, so you'd always be welcome to join in. We spend just as much time out and about as at home, getting away for as many weekends in nature as we can. You'll often find Shane or I at a gig, new restaurant or in the kitchen attempting meal prep for lunches through the week.

I am sadly allergic to cats and dogs so we can’t accept any pets.
Compatible people
We are looking for a housemate/s that are good communicators, considerate and contribute to the up-keep of the apartment. We are friendly and social and would like to have housemates who also enjoy the occasional dinner/wine/coffee and a catch up. We also respect down time and understand how important it is to have a space/place to recharge after a busy day. We're looking for professionals as you will be expected to join us on the lease, which is rolling month to month. Ideally, you won't work from home often as there is a construction site next door which can be disruptive.
