Hi there!

One of our housemates is sadly moving on to new places, but the good news is that it means a room is now available in our lovely sharehouse.

This is a big, homely five-bedroom house in a safe, quiet and friendly street. We will only ever have a maximum of 4 people living in the house so it's never too crowded.

If you like waking up to the sound of birds, having your morning coffee in the sun looking at the trees, biking/running/walking along the Yarra, being close to the shops (including Coles, Woolies, ALDI and Kmart), restaurants, a short drive to the M3 and one easy bus ride to the city, you'll love it here.
Situated on the edge of East Doncaster/Warrandyte, you’ll feel far from the city without actually being that far from it!

Rent includes your room + shared laundry, kitchen, family dining area, formal dining area, lounge room, large front & back garden (lots of space to work/study/chill outside your room when you want to). Non-party house. Non-smoking house. We do have a few friends over for dinner sometimes and you are welcome to as well!

Central heating/cooling, and solar power which keeps the bills down in the warmer months. Free street parking.

WHO YOU’LL BE LIVING WITH:
Amy (me), 39, writer and writing teacher who mostly works from home. Love hiking, being in nature, reading, writing, cooking, op-shopping, and meaningful chats.
Nala, Amy’s 10yo golden retriever who loves cuddles, walks, and food.
Chris, 38, works in IT (part-time at home), loves climbing and cooking
Alex, 26, full-time tradie who enjoys cooking, a good chat, and training at the gym and in the backyard

OUR IDEAL HOUSEMATES
Must love dogs! You are stably employed. You like a clean, tidy, and peaceful home, are respectful and caring towards others, and don’t need to be asked to clean up after yourself or do your bit around the house. You are interested in knowing who you live with but also happy to chill in your own space and give others their space; enjoy meaningful chats and shared meals now and then; looking for a place to settle in and call home for a while.
