Description of the home

Hello! I'm looking to transfer my lease for my room in a student sharehouse. This room would be ideal for any student (especially a Monash student)/young working professional working in the Clayton area.

The room itself is quite spacious and comfortable - you can really make it your own home away from home! It comes pre-furnished with a bed (mattress included), a large desk (+ comfortable chair), and 2 wardrobes.

You will be sharing the house and common areas with 4 other students. There is 1 main bathroom (with a shower, toilet and 2 sinks) along with a single toilet next to the laundry.

Bills are not included, but are shared among the tenants. These average to around $10 per week. There is central heating and an inhouse washing machine and dryer. The kitchen comes equipped with a gas stove and microwave for any cooking needs!

The house itself is:
❤️ 10 minutes by bus to Monash University
💛 15 minutes bus to M-City Shopping Centre
💚 15 minutes walk to Clayton Station
💙 15 minutes walk to a multitude of Asian restaurants, groceries and pharmacies

NOTE: This is a lease transfer (ending on 22/02/25), so you will sign onto the existing lease along with the 4 other tenants of the house. There is the possibility to renew for another year once the lease ends :)

Bills and expenses

The bills are for electricity, gas, internet and water. Bills are divided equally amongst housemates and it averages out to around $10-20 per week!
