I’m looking for someone (female only - no couples) to share my house in Trevallyn with me and my cat, Salep. Rent is $782.14 per calendar month (approximately $181 per week), not including internet and electricity, with a bond of $600. Looking for someone to stay for 6 months or more, but with an initial probationary period of 3 months, which can be extended if we’re a good fit.

The bedroom is a sunny space with stunning views of the Tamar River, the Silo Hotel, and Invermay, complete with a blockout blind. The room can be semi-furnished (double bed, shelving, clothing rack), or I can store everything for a completely empty room, ready for your own furniture.

The rest of the house is fully furnished and includes a light and airy living and dining area. The kitchen is large, with a walk-in pantry, and fully equipped with many cooking appliances (air fryer, slow cooker, rice cooker, etc.). There’s additional storage in the common areas, reverse cycle air-conditioning, and a cozy wood-fired heater for the colder months. The shared bathroom has both a bath and a separate shower, and the deck includes a BBQ for outdoor cooking.

Only on-street parking is available. Being an older house, it has its quirks but plenty of charm. The location is excellent—just 5 minutes by car or a 25-minute walk to the CBD. It’s also a 5-minute walk to Trevallyn IGA, bakery, and chemist, with two bus stops within a 5-minute walk.
You'll need to complete an application with the real estate agent to become an approved tenant. The property is strictly non-smoking and drug-free.
