This apartment is very generous with its floor space with a massive kitchen and a decent sized living room. The apartment also comes with a very neat 1 car automatic roller door garage.
The location of the apartment is also great, smack dab in the middle of beautiful Wilston. It's walking distance from an unnecessary amount of cafes (each one better than the last), bars, takeaway shops and a pretty good brewery. Nearby Wilston station, Windsor station, Lutwyche Road buses and RBWH.
But sadly there are also some cons with this place (but not too many ;)). For starters, while the apartment is big, I can't say the same for the room. It measures in at 2.76mx3.1m which is not too bad, but not comfortable enough to set up a WFH office alongside a bed. It should be able to fit a double bed, desk, desk chair and shelf (but it would be a very tight fit).
Another con is that there is no aircon (pun intended) in the bedrooms; only one in the lounge room. But if you open up the internal doors you can sort of cool down the whole apartment. The breeze is absolutely heavenly, and keeps the space cool.
As for the garage setup here, on street parking is available but if you have a car, you're more than welcome to park in the garage (while sharing a small corner of it where the washing machine is).
As for the move in date, the current one will be moving out when the lease ends in February, so it's perfect for anyone looking for a fresh space for 2025 .
With this deal, we would each pay $250 a week. Water is included, but utilities are separate.
The ideal co-tenant would be a single, working professional between the ages of 23 - 35. I would prefer to meet in person to show you the place and area around. People who work in arts/ creative industries, identify as LGBTQIA+, or live interstate and is looking to move to Brisbane for work are encouraged to reach out. I can also have the move in date be flexible across January to early February, all up for discussion.
You must:
- have excellent communication skills,
- be a cool, mature and friendly person.
- clean and self-contained.
