The house is a double-storey brick construction with internal stairs. Nudgee Railway station is a few minutes' walk down the road and busses to the city and shopping centres are also a few minutes up the road. The ACU is within walking distance or bus service. Banyo shopping centre is about 1km. The area is quiet and surrounded by many parks and treed areas. Nudgee Beach is a short drive/bike-ride away if you like fishing or paddling, and the environmental reserve has lovely walking tracks.
