2 rooms for rent for one person. 1 bedroom & 1 study sized room but both can function as either. Current rent is 760 per fortnight, split 50/50 so your portion would be half; $380 per fortnight.
Moving interstate in January'ish and real estate agent (Neale Realty) requires you to be on the lease. So looking for a housemate for 4-5 months who can either take over the lease completely after I go, or able to get a new housemate to replace myself when I leave and transfer the lease over. Current lease ends in march but agent likely open to negotiate a renewed lease term when I go if you wish.
In total the house has 4 rooms (2 large, 2 study size), 1 bathroom, 1 toilet, 1 laundry area, lounge, kitchen and joined dining area, plus outer grannyflat/studio.
Beautiful area, walking distance to Pulyonna Wirra/Wadmore park and Black Hill Conservation park, local shops also a walk away (less than 10 mins walk) and larger shops a similar drive.
I have a pet rescue magpie called Remi that has had free reign of the house and a tunnel that leads from my room to an outdour aviary. This means I have to say no pets, but we also have a lot of local birds, lizards, and possums who share the property with us and I do not want to create an area of denial for them; especially considering our location to the conservation parks and natural areas that are of huge importance and a major boon to the location. Being a lost pet magpie adopted in, previously raised by humans (the only reason she hasn't been released back into the wild), Remi has territorial issues which means I am of course happy to restrict her movements into communal areas so that you aren't harassed by her. However I would prefer a housemate with a love for native wildlife who may be willing to deal with and adapt to her territorial issues as she becomes accustomed to your new presence; eventually cooling off and becoming used to you as a part of her flock. But I don't want to minimise that she can be a lot to handle, and you are under no obligation to deal with her as part of your everyday life.
